London - Flexible Study Abroad

Flexible Study Abroad

Our two-part program structure means that your classes are in two six-week sessions that together make up your study abroad semester. So if you can't travel to your host city by the start of the program, you can do the first session of courses online and still have your sights set on doing the second session abroad. Since each of these sessions can ‘flex’ to be on-site or online as/if conditions change, you won't leave any course credit on the table (just on your transcript).

Later start dates mean both sessions combined would take place in fewer than 89 days, eliminating the need for visas for U.S. students (we will work with international students where possible). In addition, we have established decision dates on whether a session will be offered online or on-site well in advance of the start date so students and families can make travel arrangements:

  • Session 1 Start & End Dates: September 23 – November 3, 2020
    • We will decide whether this session will run on-site or online by August 12, 2020
  • Session 2 Start & End Dates: November 6 – December 18, 2020
    • We will decide whether this session will run on-site or online by September 16, 2020

Why London?

The Beatles said it best in their hit song "Blackbird": "All your life, you were only waiting for this moment to arise." Now's your time—study abroad in the land of William Shakespeare, the Royal family, Sir Isaac Newton, and Harry Potter. Be inspired by everything around you in London, from the museums and art galleries to Buckingham Palace and Parliament. Even a simple walk around this culturally rich city or a ride on the Tube can inspire you in ways you'd never imagine.

Student Life

We strive to make sure you feel safe, cared for, and at home while you’re away from home. Whether it’s the orientation program that makes you feel prepared, your housing that is well-located and comfortable, the cultural events that make it easy and fun to meet other international and local students, or the field trips and walking tours that take you to places tourists don’t usually see—we’re all about our student service.
