Eligibility Requirements
- Students should have the equivalent of a 2.5 on a 4.0 GPA grade scale. Borderline students may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Students must be in their third, fourth or fifth year of study during the exchange period.
*3rd, 4th and 5th year students
Research projects and work experience program available with all INSA departments.

The IST semester with courses taught entirely in English runs for 12 weeks from mid-September to December.

Students will receive their acceptance packet upon acceptance by departments.

Estimated Cost of Living
Food/meals
Housing – 350 € - 600 € per month (+ deposit + general fees)
Local transportation – monthly travel rate campus 31€ (student under 28 years old)
Health Insurance – All international INSA Lyon students must subscribe to accident and health insurance, valid upon arrival in France. The Incoming Mobility Team can provide you with the right contacts. Good coverage cost is a minimum of 200 - 315 €.
