Program Description:

Study Abroad in San José

Speak Spanish at an advanced level? You can earn academic credit while immersing into local culture and workplaces in this study + internship opportunity. Limited opportunities may be available at the intermediate level. The Study + Internship program in San Jose allows you to make steady progress toward your academic degree while developing practical skills in fields such as education, marketing, management, finance, hospitality, and more. The program incorporates a professional internship placement into your semester abroad.  Our strong academic focus and  personalized placements dedicated to meaningful experiences that make a real impact, allow you to take care of those degree requirements and give your career a boost all while gaining the international experience you’ve been seeking.

Where You'll Study

Our partner institution, Veritas University, is known for its commitment to students from around the world; about 25% of the 2,000-member student body is international. Veritas offers a range of courses in fields like architecture, business, cultural studies, design, environmental science, health sciences, studio arts, and zoology. Courses are taught in English, and Spanish Language courses are available for all levels. The spacious, modern campus is located in the quiet Zapote District, just east of downtown San José and home to the Casa Presidencial. Students will receive a transcript from Veritas University upon the completion of their program.
