London, England - Semester Internship
You will receive individualized support from ASA’s advisors and staff throughout your program application process, while you are abroad, and when you return. You will receive a detailed pre-departure orientation guide which will help you know what to pack, what to expect when you arrive, and how to stay safe while abroad.

Once you arrive you will participate in our onsite orientation with the other ASA students in your group. ASA’s site director will introduce you to your host city and culture through orientation and multiple events during the program. Our intentionally small group sizes allow ASA’s students to get to know one another and are an aspect of our programs for which our alumni consistently express their appreciation. You will have opportunities to meet other students and lots of new people through your classes, social events and optional language partners.

ASA programs include excursions, volunteer opportunities, housing, meals, academic credits, transcripts, mobile phones, airport pick-up on arrival, medical insurance and more! Contact ASA or your advisor to learn about ASA’s Price Guarantee for all of our programs.
A summer internship in London with ASA costs $6,495 and includes resume advising, internship placement, housing, international medical insurance, on-site orientation and support, and cell phone.  Housing is typically in shared apartments or student residences.  Meals are not included.

This fee does not include the visa necessary in order to intern in the UK - you can find more information on this below.  Summer internships are approximately 2 months long and take place during the months of June and July.  (Internships are not available during the month of August, as so many professionals go on vacation during this month.)
