Program Description:
TD-ULimerick
IFSA - UNIVERSITY OF LIMERICK PARTNERSHIP
Geotag  Limerick, Ireland

WHY STUDY IN CITY?
Limerick is a major center for sport in Ireland, where rugby and rowing take center stage. The university campus is the training ground for both local and national teams who make use of the top-class facilities. The city’s cultural scene includes theaters, an arts center, clubs, pubs, and restaurants of all kinds. Picturesque castles, medieval fortresses and city walls dating to the Normans dot the landscape of the area.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Highly ranked by international and Irish students alike, Limerick is renowned for innovative teaching, and offers extensive STEM options, an accredited business school, and a prestigious music and dance school. It’s also noted for great student support, with three tutoring centers, a peer-matching program for visiting students, and two-week class trial periods.

After class, climb Ireland’s tallest indoor rock wall, play football, or kayak on Lough Derg—this green campus on the River Shannon is nicknamed Ireland’s Sport Campus. Or, meet friends for coffee or lunch in a courtyard that was once the historic Plassey House stables.

Limerick is a youthful city, less trampled by tourists than others, with a friendly vibe. Plus, Cork, Galway, and Dublin are in easy reach when you’re ready to explore. Discover more of what makes Ireland unique with specially curated excursions (yes, included!) to the awesome West Coast and Kilkenny, a medieval city where you can get your fill of artisan foods and try your hand at the Gaelic sport, hurling.

Visit IFSA - University of Limerick Partnership on the IFSA website for complete academic details including a list of classes and syllabi.
