About the Program

Known as the "City of Music," Vienna is home to legendary composers and institutions like the Vienna Philharmonic, Vienna Symphony, and the Staatsoper. The IES Abroad Vienna Music Program is perfect for Music students, offering courses in Music History, Theory, Composition, Performance, and more! Students can participate in the Music Performance Workshop, receive private lessons, access state-of-the-art facilities, and attend rehearsals or concerts. Additionally, internships and field experiences are available, and the program supports cultural immersion, ensuring an authentic and enriching study abroad experience.
